Pasquatank River

The ICW canal from the Great Dismal Swamp empties ino the Pasquatank River. It is paradise for those that love areas undeveloped and full of life. It is mostly cypress swamp, at least at the edges, and alive with bird calls and jumping fish. The water continues to be that dark root beer color, but again, this is from the tanin and the peat.
